Bio
Hasani Sahlehe (b. 1991 St. Thomas, USVI) works in a variety of media and has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the Southeast. Significant exhibitions include, “Banana Republic” at SCAD Museum of Art and “What a Kallaloo" at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. His work has been covered in Atlanta’s City Lights, Atlanta Magazine and other publications. Sahlehe lives and works in Atlanta. Sahlehe received his Painting BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015.

Sahlehe is a 2017 recipient of the SCAD Alumni Atelier Award and a current MINT Leap Year resident. While maintaining a full studio practice, Sahlehe has made notable contributions to the arts by means of collaboration, peer mentorship, curating, and creative direction. He has been commissioned by the Georgia Dome, The Shops at Buckhead, Swirl Films and assisted numerous Atlanta area curators in the planning and realization of their exhibitions.
